Vico Magistretti for De Padova 'Davis' Sofa in Camel Beige Upholstery

Sale price$4,400.00

Vico Magistretti for ICF De Padova, ‘Davis’ sofa, wood, fabric, Italy, 1977

This distinctive sofa is designed by the innovative and renowned Italian designer Vico Magistretti (1920-2006). This three-seat sofa is well-designed featuring clear lines and round corners executed in a subtle way. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and the stabile construction. Please note how Magistretti designed the seating in a geometrically manner by dividing the cushions into three sections, adding a wonderful rhythmic and haptic surface to the overall design. This piece of furniture is designed to provide an ultimate level of comfort due to the thick seating cushions and the upholstered armrests, inviting the sitter to have a pleasant and enjoyable time while sitting on it. Magistretti created a sofa that is both extremely comfortable and pleasing to the eyes.
