Pair of armchairs, attributed to Marcel Kammerer for Thonet, bentwood and fabric, Austria, ca. 1910

An elegant bentwood pair of armchairs consisting designed by Marcel Kammerer and manufactured by Thonet, Austria, circa 1910. The elegant pair is made of dark stained beechwood in a dark tone and upholstered in a classic beige with dark grey patterned upholstery.

The bentwood shows a wonderful patina. The upholstery shows some signs of age and use, with some fading and small scuffs. Therefore, we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
