Set of six Art Deco dining chairs in solid oak, France, 1940s
This set of French dining chairs show a basic design, with strong proportions. The geometric backrest is a typical feature from the Art Deco, which also gives the chair an open character. A nice visual aspect of the chair is the rear legs, that shows a nice curve, made in one single solid piece of oak. The seat is upholstered in thick olive green leather, and is finished with nails.
