Set of Four Tubular Chairs by 't Spectrum

Claire Bataille and Paul Ibens for 't Spectrum, four 'SE18' dining chairs, chromed steel and leather, the Netherlands, 1971-1974.

Modern set of 4 dining chairs designed by Claire Bataille & Paul Ibens for 't Spectrum. This model was produced for only 3 years from 1971-1974. The chairs feature chromed tubular frames and black leather seats and backrests. The double tubular frames at the backrests and at the seats are an elegant detail that emphasizes 't Spectrums Minimalist approach.

The tubular frame is in good, used condition with minor scratches visible on the surface. The thick saddle leather has aged beautifully, showing a patina all-over. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
