This striking staircase with a rubber step surface is called the 'Helicloid' staircase and is part of the "M 400" series by Roger Tallon. Roger Tallon (1929-2011) was a French Industrial designer. Tallon was trained as an engineer. He designed hundreds of products, including industrial robots for Peugeot, refrigerators, tableware, lamps and furniture.
