Pierre Dariel, pair of "Hendaye" adjustable armchairs, walnut and cane, France, 1930s.

This pair of Hendaye model armchairs was designed by Pierre Dariel in the 1930s. The frame is made entirely out of walnut, with a seat and a back made of cane. This for the time very avant-garde design for has a rack system with three seating positions that tilts the seating. Overall two beautiful chairs that will bring a lot of character to your interior.
