The 1960s piece is composed of five teak units aligned in a strict horizontal formation, giving the design a strong linear presence on the wall. Each module is a simple rectangular volume, but their repetition produces a measured rhythm that guides the viewer’s eye across the length of the piece. A crips graphic division of white and black strokes interrupt the warmth of the teak. Vertical supports placed between the modules act as both structural anchors and compositional markers.
