Large chandelier, hand blown glass, white lacquered metal, Sweden, 1970s
Beautiful and bright chandelier in a quite impressive size. This piece was designed and made in Scandinavia in the 1970s. Meant to provide a light source for a large space, this chandelier has sixteen light fixtures connected to elegant clear glass bulbs that are hand blown. The bulbs have internal air bubbles in them, creating a lovely atmospheric shimmering in the globes when the light shines through them. The whole is based on a circular rod made in a white lacquered metal with connecting wands that assemble the fixture to the ceiling.
The diameter of this chandelier is 162 cm/63.78 in.
