This lovely pair of dining chairs embodies an austere aesthetic, yet the meticulous choice of materials and exceptional craftsmanship elevate them beyond mere simple chairs. The design character of the chairs echoes the aesthetic language prevalent in the 1970s, with iconic designs like Afra and Tobia Scarpa's 'Dialogo' and Gae Aulenti's 'Orsay' chair playing significant roles in shaping its character. The present model features two wooden angular frames to which the round, contoured seat is attached. The gentle curves of the saddle leather create a splendid juxtaposition with the cubic framework. Please note that the chairs are in used condition. This set contains threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier.
