This remarkable Italian highboard is characterized by its warm chestnut construction and richly decorated front. Six panels are inset with illustrated fabric, each framed by softly undulating contours that introduce an elegant rhythm to the otherwise architectural composition. The muted red and beige scenes lend the piece a playful, narrative quality and contrast beautifully with the warm grain of the wood.

Behind the doors, the highboard offers generous storage space with hanging compartments, shelves and a series of drawers.
