This side chair has a splendid construction that epitomizes a simplistic, natural and timeless aesthetics. The designer duo used building methods founded in World War Two, like bent plywood in the manner of Charles Eames and other top designers of the forties The chair is built up of two pieces of plywood that are bent into shape. An open space is left open in the backrest which adds to the essence of the design. The chairs have the original stamp of the manufacturer T/J Molded Plywood Furniture Corporation.
