Sale price$7,450.00

Giuseppe Rivadossi, wall-mounted console with mirror, oak, mirrored glass, Italy, 1970s

This stunning ensemble comprises a wall-mounted cabinet and a matching mirror, both designed by Italian sculptor and designer Giuseppe Rivadossi. The design epitomizes exceptional craftsmanship, with intricate carvings that soothe the wooden surfaces. These subtle rounded contours imbue the pieces with a gentle and inviting aesthetic. The console cabinet contains a drawer that extends beyond the main shelf. This clever design element not only adds an extra layer of depth but also offers additional storage capacity, making it a practical piece of furniture. The accompanying mirror complements the cabinet with its clean lines and refined form. Together, these pieces create a cohesive and elegant focal point, perfect for any entryway, living room, or hallway.

Giuseppe Rivadossi (1935) was born in Monteclana di Nave, Italy, where he still lives and works. At a young age, Rivadossi's path begins with wood carving, with works reflecting on his poetic idea of living. In 1962 Rivadossi took over the carpentry founded in 1920 by his father Clemente, which he transformed into an atelier, or rather a creative workshop. Eventually, Rivadossi and collaborators established 'Officina Rivadossi' in 1976 where he started the manufacture of wooden objects and unique modern furniture.
