This dining room set consisting of a beautiful table and bench in walnut wood is designed by Giovanni Michelucci. This set, with its solid and grand appearance is part of the 'Torbecchia' series. The design is based on a solid construction featuring strong, geometrical shapes and sharp edges, which contribute to its architectural appearance. The table and bench are built the same, but differ in function. Both contain a rectangular top that rests on four tapered legs. Furthermore, the wood shows a striking texture by means of the walnut’s properties, adding a visual excitement and a sense of nature. In absence of decorative details, the design convinces visually through the well-balanced appearance and the stabile construction.
