Francesco Binfaré for Cassina Set of Four 'Hock' Dining Chairs in Black

Sale price$4,950.00

Francesco Binfaré for Cassina, set of four 'Hock' dining chairs, black lacquered wood, leather, Italy, 1990s

These rare chairs are designed by Francesco Binfaré who was director of the Centro Ricerche Cassina from 1969 to 1976. A distinct form emerges, particularly evident in the disproportionately backrest marked by curved lines, evoking an avant-garde sensibility. The base is composed of four cylindrical feet, with the rear legs thoughtfully positioned diagonally to enhance its visual allure. The frame is executed in black lacquered wood and the remaining parts are made from black leather. The minimalist design approach is manifested through the exclusive use of a single color and the absence of any ornamentation.

Please note that these chairs are in good condition with some signs of use. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
