Stunning square shaped dining table with a drop leaf table top. This dining table is manufactured in beautiful walnut wood, featuring striking, warm tones in the grain. The unfolded tabletop is finished with rounded edges which is inlayed with a different, lighter tone of wood. Folding the table top exposes the table's base, as the thick, walnut frame is larger in size than the top. Also an interesting element is the that table top is fixtured only in the centre. Therefore, the table top can be placed in two different ways and gives the possibility to expose the wonderful, detailed frame even more. This piece shows traits of the Italian Afra & Tobia Scarpa and Maxalto.
The table is in good condition with just some small flaws and dents showing when the table is folded.
