Ernst Moeckl White 'Kangaroo' Dining Chairs

$800.00

Ernst Moeckl for Trabant, 'Kangaroo' or 'Z' armchairs, original finish, fiberglass, Germany, designed in 1968

This set of white 'Kangaroo' chairs is designed by Ernst Moeckl in 1968. The chair is also called the 'Z-chair', referring to its shape. During the period of the Iron Curtain, the iconic 'Panton chair' by Verner Panton was produced in Western Europe, while Eastern Germany produced the 'Z' chair. Thanks to the material, the chairs can be used both indoors and outdoors and are stackable as well.

Please note that the original finished has aged and shows patina.
