Ernst Moeckl for Trabant, 'Kangaroo' or 'Z' armchairs, original finish, fiberglass, Germany, designed in 1968

This set of white 'Kangaroo' chairs is designed by Ernst Moeckl in 1968. The chair is also called the 'Z-chair', referring to its shape. During the period of the Iron Curtain, the iconic 'Panton chair' by Verner Panton was produced in Western Europe, while Eastern Germany produced the 'Z' chair. Thanks to the material, the chairs can be used both indoors and outdoors and are stackable as well.

Please note that the original finished has aged and shows patina. For more information of the possibility to restore the item in our own in-house restoration atelier, please don't hesitate to contact our design experts. Also we would like to point out that we have a large amount of these chairs in our current collection.

Please note that the price is per item.
