This European daybed from the 1940s has a low, generous form. Its cushioned surface is divided into a neat grid, while the red and white patterned upholstery brings movement to the simple shape. A cylindrical bolster rests at one end, and solid oak feet lift the daybed just above the floor. The design is reminiscent of Jindřich Halabala’s work.
