Arne Hovmand-Olsen Mogens Kold Dining Chair in Teak

This sculptural dining chair is designed by the Dane Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik. The chair is organically shaped as can be seen in the rounded, almost branch like legs and the elegant open detail in the armrests. The frame flows gracefully all the way from the bottom to the top. There are little black grips on the armrests in order for the elbows not to slip off. The backrest is curved and seems to belong to the frame as naturally as a flower belongs to its stem.
