Pair of lounge chairs, solid oak, fabric, brass, Europe, 1950s
These armchairs, dating from the 1950s, are made in solid oak and combine a strong wooden construction with generous upholstered cushions. The frames have broad armrests, sculptural feet and decorative vertical slats along the sides and back.
The upholstery is finished in a light fabric decorated with small, colorful leaf motifs. Brass studs follow the edges of the arm cushions and introduce a traditional decorative detail. The beautiful hand-carved details give the chairs a rustic and decorative character.
Kindly note that these chairs are in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done in our in-house atelier, or locally. Please reach out to our design specialists for more information.
