A mid-century modern lounge set from the 1950s. The bentwood frame sweeps in continuous arcs from the ground into armrests. The high, gently reclined backrest extends the line, and made of canvas webbing woven in a basket-like pattern. The proportions are low and generous, the seat sinking back in a way that suggests a posture more aligned with leisure than formality.
