Roger Capron Hexagonal Table in Ceramic Blonde Wood with Sun Motifs

Sale price£5,934.51

Roger Capron, table, ceramic, hardwood, France, 1960s

This table is another exquisite example of Roger Capron’s work, showcasing a hexagonal tabletop composed of his preferred material, ceramic, with intricate radial detailing that lends a handcrafted, textured appeal. The design is arranged in a geometric pattern of triangular ceramic tiles, creating a harmonious layout. At the center and along the outer rim, the tiles are adorned with sunburst motifs, characterized by a warm, earthy brown with a subtly mottled finish. The base consists of four simple, rectangular legs made of blonde wood, allowing the attention to remain focused on the decorative ceramic top. One tile bears Capron's signature, marked with "R. Capron".
