Stilnovo, pendant lamp, lacquered aluminum, satin glass, brass, steel, Italy, 1950s/60s

This rare pendant lamp by Stilnovo dates back to the 1950s-1960s and is distinguished by a carefully balanced interplay of elementary forms, in which volume, line, and negative space are orchestrated into a sculptural whole. The central body consists of a vertically elongated diffuser in satin white opaline glass diffuser resolving into sharply faceted points. Intersecting the glass body at its widest point is a broad horizontal ring in black lacquered aluminum. Suspension is achieved through a slender cable terminating in a brass canopy, whose warm metallic finish introduces a subtle material richness without disrupting the composition's formal restraint. A beautiful example of the company's experimentation with intersecting volumes and geometric purity during one of the most influential periods in post-war Italian lighting design.

The suspension height can be adjusted in the canopy, allowing the pendant to be adapted to different ceiling heights and interiors. For further details regarding the dimensions, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.

We would also like to note that a small chip is present at the upper rim of the glass. This minor imperfection does not detract from the lamp's overall presentation.
