Karel Koželka and Antonín Kropáček Coffee Tables in Oak

Sale price£995.89

Karel Koželka and Antonín Kropácek for Interier Praha, coffee tables, oak and glass, Czech Republic, 1960s

An iconic Czechoslovak design piece by designers Karel Kozelka and Antonin Kropacek. The table has an oak frame, with a glass top. The concentric circle forms are held in place by dynamic rounded legs, characteristic geometry of midcentury modernism. The design was awarded with a silver medal at the Milan Triennale in 1946.

Please note that the wood is in fair condition with visible signs of wear and use. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized restoration is possible as well.
