Italian Set of Six Armchairs in Pine with Light Blue Laced Backrest

Set of six armchairs, pine and fabric, Italy, 1970s.

This set of six armchairs from Italy is sleek and pure. The chairs feature an architectural pine wooden frame, build up from only horizontal and vertical lines. The vertical slats of the armrests and back are secured with wooden joints and an open space is left in between, which creates an airy impression of the frame. The seats are upholstered with soft blue canvas and are fastened at the back and underneath the seat with a light blue rope lace, and held together by small metal rings. An eccentric detail that really catches the eye.

Please note that the fabric is in used condition and shows signs of wear and use. Reupholstery is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
