This striking sofa is executed in beautiful cognac leather that contributes to a refined monochrome appearance, emphasizing the sculptural qualities of its design. The back features an intriguing, shaped pattern composed of vertical openings, giving the piece a dynamic and lively character. Thanks to this distinctive detail, the sofa is visually appealing from every angle and can therefore be placed freely in the middle of a room as well as against a wall.
The generous seating area combined with thick, comfortable cushions ensures a truly pleasant and relaxing seating experience. The design shows strong resemblances to Afra and Tobia Scarpa’s Coronado sofa for B&B Italia from 1966, as well as elements of Luigi Massoni’s visual language. In the absence of superfluous decorative details, the piece convinces through its balanced proportions, sculptural presence, and solid construction.
