Italian Modular Cabinet in White and Red Lacquered Wood

Sale price£2,111.13

High board / room divider / bookcase, lacquered wood, Italy, 1960s.

This eccentric cabinet contains eight different sized separate elements and is executed in largely white lacquered wood. The red color of one rectangular element clearly stands out besides the white color, creating a playful composition of the whole. A nice feature of this cabinet is that the detached square and rectangular elements can be arranged to your own liking, not to mention as a freestanding room divider. Notably, this cabinet is a striking resemblance to Carlo di Carli's modular bookcase manufactured by Fiarm in 1964. This cabinet is a true representative of the Space Age era, and a nice addition to a stylish interior.

Kindly note that these elements are in good, used condition.
