Alfred Homann & Ole V. Kjær for Louis Poulsen, wall lamps model ‘Nyhavn’, copper, Denmark, design 1976

The ‘Nyhavn’ wall lamp by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær was designed in 1976. It won a price in a competition organized by Louis Poulson. It focused on lamp designs for historic areas. The design of the ‘Nyhavn’ is characterized by its industrial look. A flat cone shaped shade surrounds the light source. The cone is attached to three anti-glare rings above. With a round wall fixture the lamp is attached to the wall. Due to the thought-through design, the light partition is soft and warm. It can be used indoors or in outside spaces.

Kindly note that the price listed is per lamp.
