Designed in 1984 by De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi for Zanotta, the Campo lounge chair combines a high, enveloping outer shell with a soft upholstered interior. Its generous proportions and throne-like form give the chair a strong sculptural presence, while the curved back creates a private and comfortable seating space. The front legs are fitted with casters, allowing the chair to be moved easily. The design reflects the playful and architectural character of Italian postmodern furniture.
