Dutch Set of Four Armchairs in Black Leather and Tubular Steel

Sale price£1,752.77

Set of four armchairs, chrome-plated steel, leather, The Netherlands, 1960s.

Set of four black leather dining chairs with metal tubular steel. Its design shows clear traits of designs by Martin Visser and Eileen Gray. This set is characterized by clear lines and the use of metal in combination with the black natural material. The frame of these chairs is made from high quality materials. The original black leather seats show a nice patina and provides a warm expression in contrast to the modern and clean steel. Although the chairs are very Minimalist and geometric, there is one curve on the back of the armrests which give vibrant touch to these Bauhaus type chairs.

Kindly note that these items are in used condition and show some signs of wear and use. Such as patinated leather and some rust on the chrome. Please reach out to our design specialists for further information and restoration options.
