Spanish Brutalist Dining Table in Oak and Wrought Iron
Dining table, stained oak, wrought iron, Spain, 1950s
This exuberant dining table originates from Spain and shows the highly decorative characteristics of the 17th century Spanish baroque style. As is typical for baroque furniture design, their compositions integrate elements in a balanced and harmonious manner. Meaning that the implementation of ornamentation were replicated on both sides, of which this table is an excellent example. The pedestal feet are composed of elaborate curves and are connected through classic bracing irons. Taking every stylistic realization into account, the craftsmanship of the creator is truly evident, who has created a detailed, well-proportioned design with a high ornate quality.
Please note that the table is in good, used condition with scratches and wear. Restoration is possible before shipping by our experienced craftsman and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier.
