Pieter De Bruyne Four Seat Sofa in Wool and Padouk
Pieter de Bruyne four seat sofa, padouk, wool, Belgium, 1960s
Spacious and powerful sofa designed by Belgian designer Pieter de Bruyne. This sofa is made mainly in padouk, the preferred wood type of de Bruyn for his designs, and black lacquered wood. The bright red upholstery is a very nice addition to this design. The sides and backrests are also upholstered in fabric, a detail that gives this sofa a fresh and modern appearance.
Please note that this item is in good, used condition. The upholstery shows stains and threadbare spots. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
