Pair of Mid-Century Dutch Dining Chairs
Dining chairs, beech, The Netherlands, 1960s.
Pair of modest Dutch dining chairs. These modern chairs resemble the style of the designs by the British furniture manufacturer Ercol. These Puritan, simplistic chairs with two horizontal slats contain a curved top rail and are a wonderful example of design from the 1960s. The core of this chair is its fitness for purpose, closely followed by proportion material and form. The light beech has aged in a wonderful way, giving these chairs more strength that they might have had at the time of production. The seat shows a nice grain pattern and visible round joinery that adds extra character to its design. Please note that we have more items of this design in our collection, which makes it a great choice for a larger seating or dining area.
Kindly note that these items are in good, used condition.
