Augusto Savini 'Pamplona' Chair with Burgundy Glossed Frame
Augusto Savini for Pozzi, ‘Pamplona’ armchair, leather, ashwood, metal, Italy, 1960s.
Iconic 'Pamplona' armchair designed by Augusto Savini in high gloss red burgundy wood and beige suede. The chair shows a unique and characteristic design; simplistic yet very architectural, both in lines and proportions. The design features a wonderful bentwood frame, starting from the front leg which runs over into the armrests and ends in the rear leg. The square aluminium element on the back emphasize the architectural and modern expression of the chairs. The sand colored leather upholstery of both the seat and back form a beautiful, contrasting combination with the dark red high gloss lacquered wood.
