Art Deco Dining Table with Inlayed Top in Oak
Dining table, oak, France, 1940s.
This well-designed dining table is architectural in its structure and alludes to the stylistics traits of the artistic Art Deco movement of the 1940s. The top has a checkered pattern that is created by alternately placing the square oak veneer with a dark and light tone. The base consists of colossal legs and is structurally supported by means of a horizontal beam. This piece of furniture clearly shows similarities with designs of French designers Charles Dudouyt and Gaston Poisson. A monumental table that can be placed as a standout in your dining room.
Kindly note that the table is in good, used condition. The table contains some scratching and and a few chips along the edge. For further details, we encourage you to reach out to our team of design specialists.
