Torben Lind & Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen Pair of Easy Chairs in Oak and Leather
Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen & Torben Lind for France & Son, pair of slipper chairs, oak, leather, Denmark, 1960s.
Modern and stylish modular easy chairs designed by Ole Gjerlov-Knudsen & Torben Lind. These chairs can also be turned into a two-seater sofa, resulting in a crisp yet warm design. The oak frame holds a leather body with buttoned cushions. The leather upholstery is a wonderful combination with the oakwood of the frames of these chairs, this classic combination of materials contributes to the chair's authentic appearance. Due to the great proportions and angle of both the seat and back, these pieces provide great comfort.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item might contain some threadbare upholstery with loose seams and small stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
