This elegant set of dining chairs, manufactured by Ton, features a wonderful bentwood frame. The round shape of the backrest surrounds the user. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a beige, patterned fabric which is in good, used condition.
Ton was founded after WWII in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, Ton asked various architects to contribute to research and developments of new designs using the technology of bentwood and leading to new, more contemporary designs.
