This delightful set of armchairs is characterized by a bentwood frame featuring elegant round corners and clear lines. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a delicate looking brown leatherette, which matches the wooden frame perfectly. These dining chairs have an utterly well-designed construction making it suitable for different occasions, such as cafés, dining rooms, waiting areas and lounges, to name a few.
Ton was founded after World War Two in former Thonet factories and continued with the furniture making tradition set up by Thonet. In the 1960s, the Ton company asked various architects to contribute in the researc process and develop new design forms by using the renowned technology of bentwood, leading to new, more contemporary designs.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
