Ole Wanscher for P. Jeppesens Møbelfabrik, three-seater sofa, leather, walnut, Denmark, 1950s.

This sofa, upholstered in nicely but smooth aged natural leather upholstery is still in a good condition, providing great comfort. The slim and elegant bent walnut wooden legs, gives the sofa a very open and elegant look, suitable for the modern home due to its timeless expression. The walnut grain pattern is perfectly visible on the frame.

Ole Wanscher, born in Copenhagen in 1903 was an architect and professor of architecture with furniture design, his specialty. Form and construction were of the utmost importance to him. His designs are nowadays to be considered as modern classics, functional and sophisticated with a delicate attention to detail.

Please note that the leather shows signs of age and use. Reupholstery is possible before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
