In style of Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, sideboard, white laminate, chromed metal, Italy, 1970s

This expressive sideboard is beautifully constructed where aesthetics and functionally come hand in hand. The front holds the characteristics of the Hollywood Regency style, featuring bold colors and forms. The frame and circular handles are executed in golden-colored chromed metal, and in combination with the white laminate, this credenza is opulent and luxurious in its appearance. Functionality comes into play through the availability of great amount of storage space created by the elongated, rectangular size of the cabinet, and the presence of drawers and shelves. This sideboard embodies luxurious accents and lavish formal aspects, which make sure that your interior gets all the brightness and vitality it needs.

Willy Rizzo (1928-2013), born in Naples, was a celebrity and Hollywood photographer. His models include Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn. At a later stage in life, Rizzo discovered that his clientele loved his particular aesthetics and sense for style so much that he decided to design furniture. Often his design where commissions from for example Salvador Dali or Marilyn Monroe. From the end of the 1960s onwards, Rizzo designed about 30 different furniture pieces.
