Tapio Wirkkala Set of Six 'Nikke' Dining Chairs with Metal Frames

Beautiful 'Nikke' set of six dining chairs design by the Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. This model is a wonderful example of an early minimalist design. The chair consists of a black lacquered plywood seat, organically shaped. The frame features nickel-plated tubular steel legs that are slim and straight. 

Please note that the chairs differ in condition from very good to signs of wear and use, mainly at the seat. Some chairs have some damaged lacquer on the edges. Restoration is possible before shipping by the experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well. We have a large number of these chairs in stock, perfect for a larger project or space.
