Steffen Syrach Larsen for Gustav Bertelsen, set of two armchairs, rosewood, leather, Denmark, 1961.

This set of sculptural easy chairs is designed by Steffen Syrach Larsen and made by Gustav Bertelsen. The rosewood chairs have a Minimalist, functionalist frame with a decorative, triangle shape on the back. The chair features tapered legs, with two slightly angled legs at the back and two straight legs at the front. Very wonderful chairs that are both well-constructed and sculptural at the same time.
