Set of Six Swedish Dining Chairs in Oak 1940s
Set of six chairs, in oak and brown faux leather, Sweden, 1940s.
This set of six dining chairs with original leather upholstery is made by a Swedish cabinetmaker. The chairs have a solid oak frame, tapered legs, of which the back ones are slightly curved. The central feature of this design are the carved, sculptural armrests that form a decorative feature and that form, combined with the oak shell a wonderful, original whole. The chairs are very original in their design, with hints of Art Deco. This set comes with traces of age and use. There are some minor chips missing on the frames.
The faux leather shows traces of age and use and thus restoration is advised. Please ask for more information on reupholstery and restoration by our own in-house atelier.
