Set of six dining chairs, wood, leather, Italy, 1970s

This set of six Italian dining chairs has a strong resemblance to Augusto Savinis 'Pamplona' chair (1965) and Afra & Tobia Scrapas 'Pigreco' chair (1959/60) yet the designs are different in their details. This chair also has the shaped frame but than the connections are executed fully in wood. Not only is the seat upholstered in black leather but also do these chairs have upholstered backrests that are curving with the rounded frame.

Please note that the leather as well as the wood frame show patina and signs of wear and use.
