Set of Six Giuseppe Gibelli 'Beatrice' Dining Chairs
Giuseppe Gibelli for Sormani, set of six dining chairs, maple and leatherette, Italy, 1963.
This elegant set of Italian dining chairs is executed in high-quality maple and beige leatherette. The strength of these chairs lies mainly in the frame. The legs seem to flow from the ground to the top in an organic manner. The back legs continue gracefully towards the back seat. Detailing is especially nice on the top of both the legs and back where they curve and thicken.
The beige leatherette upholstery is in good condition, but can be reupholstered in any kind of fabric or leather if you desire. The professional and experienced craftsmen in our in-house atelier are specialists in the re-upholstery of design furniture. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value.
