Set of Six Art Deco Dining Chairs in Solid Oak France 1940s
Set of six Art Deco dining chairs in solid oak, France, 1940s
This set of French dining chairs has a basic design, with strong proportions. The horizontal lines in the wooden back give the chair an open character. A nice visual aspect of the chair is the rear legs, that run over to the back, made in one single solid piece of oak. The angled position of the rear legs and the tapered back give the chair a slightly playful expression.
The cognac brown leather seats have a nice patina, and they fit well to the tone of the oak.
