Set of Eight Danish Dining Chairs
Set of eight armchairs, rosewood, seven in beige ecru faux leather and one in black leather, Denmark, 1950s
This set of chairs shows subtle lines and beautiful curves of the woodwork. The highly refined connections of the wood you can see the work of an expert, a man known for his craftsmanship and with a perfect eye for material use. Resembles the style of Danish cabinetmaker and designer Niels O. Møller. He is a strong representative of Danish post-war furniture design. Niels Moller was the founder of the furniture company and manufacturer J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik.
Currently upholstered in grey to beige faux leather and one black leather. If you wish to reupholster this set in either on of the two fabrics or any other kind of fabric or leather of your choice.
