Pair of lounge chairs, oak, fabric, Europe, 1950s

Refined pair of lounge chairs that feature high backrests. The chairs are from late Art Deco period, as they show its distinctive characteristics, such as the thick tufted seat and the sculpted oak frame. The stained oak armrests are slightly curved, wide at the top and tapered towards the legs, showing sharp yet elegant lines. The burgundy colored upholstery makes a nice combination with the warm oak wooden frame.

Oak is in good, patinated condition. Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsman in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
