Sculptural Lounge Chair in Oak and Burgundy Upholstery
Lounge chairs, oak, fabric, Europe, 1950s
Refined lounge chair that features a high backrest and sculptural form. The chair is made in the late Art Deco period, as they show its distinctive characteristics, such as the thick tufted seat and the sculpted oak frame. The stained oak armrests are slightly curved, wide at the top and tapered towards the legs, showing sharp yet elegant lines. The burgundy colored upholstery makes a nice combination with the warm oak wooden frame.
Please note that this chair are in good, used condition. We advise reupholstery before use. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
