Scandinavian Set of Six Dining Chairs in Leatherette and Teak
Set of six dining chairs, black faux leather and teak, Denmark, 1960s.
This set of dining chairs are made by cabinet maker Randers Møbelværk in the 1960s. The playful design features protruded armrests that lean on triangular shaped frame. At the bottom of the triangle legs is a horizontal connective rod. This pieces provides structure for the very narrowly tapered legs. Next to that, they connect the design of the legs to the armrest, both horizontal elements in an otherwise dynamic and playful design.
