Dining chairs model ‘Sam’ designed by Sam Larsson (1910-1998) in 1974 and manufactured by the Swedish manufacturer DUX International. The ‘Sam’ was a great success and mostly used in office environments, although it is also comfortable enough to function as a dining chair. This well-formed chair is dominated by its striking tubular frame in steel that gracefully flows all the way from the top to the bottom. The style of the seat and backrest is simple and understated, where a delicate material such as cognac leather is allowed to emerge in the clean lines of the design. The upholstery of the back is made of the same-colored fabric and strapped together with a leather strap in the back, adding a characteristic detail to the overall design.
